Description

A pair of Bloor Derby white and gilt porcelain figures of a tailor and his wife both astride goats.

The Tailor carrying two goat kids on his back, his wife carrying child at her breast and a pannier on her back with two more children.

On the under side of the base is red printed crown and D mark to both and incised No 62.

Both figures are on gilt scroll-moulded bases

Circa :1820-30.

Size : Tailor, 14.5 cm high.

Wife , 14.50cm high.

Condition: restoration to extremities, horns ,earsĀ  tails, feet ,stick.
