A Staffordshire lead glazed earthenware figure of a Ewe with sponged decoration is standing before bocage on a green rocky base .
This figure is decorated in strong, powerful, translucent colours, which is typical of marked pieces of Tittensor pottery, which was located in Staffordshire.
Circa; 1805.
Condition; Restoration to parts of the base and tips of the bocage, ear and mouth, small chip to the front of the ewe.
Height; 12cm ‘4.75 inches’
