Description

An early Worcester porcelain Blind Earl pattern dish with moulded rose buds and leaves,  decorated  in bright coloured enamels surrounded with floral sprays of English flowers, the rim has a twenty four scalloped edge and finished with a continuous gilt line with scrolls. The back of the dish is unmarked but does have the distinguishing sign of the shrunken glaze which pulls away from the inside of the foot rim when firing in the kiln. This is typical of early eighteenth century Worcester Porcelain.
