Description
A William Duesbury Derby figure of a cherub seated on a tree stump holding a vase of flowers, with a turquoise and yellow drape with a gilded edge, groups of colourful leaves and flowers are applied to each side of the base,
A dry under side of the base with faint patch marks and some pools of glaze which have run down from above and a slight trace of the orange terracotta saggar where it stuck to the edge of the figure in firing.
Circa :1756-9.e
Condition; Neck, left shoulder and fingers and right hand fingers previously restored by Ceramic Restoration Studios Ltd.
