Two Victorian Staffordshire equestrian figures of Marshall Arnaud and Lord Raglan, both titled and well coloured  and painted by the same decorator.

Jacques Leroy de-Saint Arnaud was a French soldier and Marshall of France.  He served as  French Minister of War until the Crimean War when he became Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the East.

Fitzroy James Henry  Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan, was a British Army Officer who became commander of the British troops and sent to Crimea. An Anglo French force under the joint command of Arnaud and Raglan defeated the Russian Army at Battle of the Alma in September 1854.

Size: Marshall Arnaud 19 cm high. Lord Raglan 20 cm high.

Condition: The rear left leg of each horse and neck of lord Raglan restored.
