Description
A Staffordshire pearlware pottery figure decorated with onglaze enamelled colours probably manufactured by Enoch Wood of Burslem and emblematic of the element ‘Water’. The lady depicted as a fisherwoman, with her apron in her right hand raised holding fish and her left hand resting on a wicker eel trap with a lobster and shredded clay painted green as seaweed around her bare feet standing on a mound and a painted brown line to the four sides the square base .

Condition; left arm and small chip to base restored.
